Black in the Box

by Marlon Andrew Burnley

Through the use of several masks, a man is immersed in an abstract and panoramic journey through years of black oppression, seeing it through the eyes of those who lived it. This award-winning show, devised and performed by Marlon Andrew Burnley, is a movement-based performance that explores the black experience in America.
Performed at the Lamar Dodd School of the Arts, University of Georgia 2018.
